Kia ora and hello — I’m Tessie.

I’d love to welcome you to my peaceful, comfortable home, a calm and relaxing place that’s ideal for rest and recuperation. The house has easy access and a gentle, homely atmosphere, surrounded by garden views and birdsong.

I work part-time in the community health sector as a registered nurse, so creating a restful and supportive environment comes naturally to me.

Accessibility & Comfort

There are several easy entrances to the house — one via a sliding door beside the driveway, and two others with a very low 5.5 cm step. There’s plenty of space inside for a walking frame, and room for bathroom equipment if needed (such as a shower stool or over-toilet frame — please note these are not provided).
The bathroom includes a grab rail in the bathtub and a small step into the shower.

Bedrooms & Living Areas

Both bedrooms are available for your use.

• The larger room has a queen-sized bed and a comfortable lounge chair — perfect for reading or relaxing.
  
  
• The second bedroom offers a quiet, cosy space for rest.
  
  

You’ll have access to the entire home, including the kitchen, dining area, and lounge. During winter, the fireplace keeps things warm and inviting, with wall heaters in both bedrooms for extra comfort.

Garden & Surroundings

Every room looks out onto the garden, and you’re welcome to enjoy the whole outdoor area — complete with several seating spots for fresh air, sunshine, and the occasional visit from local birds (weather permitting, of course!).

Entertainment & Connectivity

The lounge and dining areas offer a variety of outlooks and comfortable seating options. The television includes multiple streaming services for online movies and entertainment, and there’s unlimited Wi-Fi available throughout the home.
